Nope. The girdle leaks trump the main seal leak.

For the record. Boost Crew Motorsports put one of my Drip-Lips on a girdled engine. (might have been a stage engine).
And has success. I believe they had to trim the lip back a little, but it still worked well. Check out their site and give them a call for details. They have them in stock too. http://boostcrewmotorsports.com/

So far, I've had great feedback on these things. Yea... It's a crazy idea. But, it WORKS...
