Drivers side footwell light

Hi Guys,

Where is the plastic bracket that holds a 194 bulb clipped for the footwell light? On the black under the dash plastic cover or on the metal bracket in front of the plastic cover? There are 2 holes in each area. Need some help since an alarm system was installed but I am not sure if the footwell light bracket has been placed correctly. Thanks.

It goes in the metal brace at the bottom of the dash towards the e-brake. I just put mine back in a couple weeks ago & I don't even have the under dash cover. The pass side I believe goes in the plastic under dash cover because I can't find anywhere to attatch it for the life of me. Can someone verify this about the pass side?
