Driveshaft length? or difference when going with 9"

any chance anyone knows what happens with a 2004r and ford 9"? Drive shaft get longer or shorter and by how much? ujoint distance would be great.

For me with my setup. Fab 9 housing and Moser aluminum center section it needed to be longer 2 or 3 inches. I think the center section will make a difference due to the different pinions.

Pinion yoke length varies, but most if not all will need a longer driveshaft.

Seems like I was able to use a 2WD short bed regular cab S10 shaft in my Malibu. It was 54" END TO END minus tthe yoke IIRC.

I had to go exactly .75" with a quick performance 9" using 1350 yoke and aluminum Daytona pinion support
