Driveshaft Loop!

Gents,

Spank here.... goin to the BPG Nationals tomorrow.... Looking for a DS Safety loop that is made just for the GM G-bodies. I thought Postons made one but cant find it on their website! Help!!!!! Does anybody know where I can get one fast?

Metco DS loop

The Postons DS loop didn't fit my GN AT ALL!

Cotton sells the Metco DS loop.... Best fitting one on the market and only $45 if my memory serves me correct... I need to order one myself...

If all else fails, you can make one out of some 1" or 1.5" flat stock they sell at Home Depot if you are crafty with a vice and hammer, and of course a drill and hacksaw....I made a 2-piece unit that bolted to the empty bolt holes there under the seat on the bootm of the car (same ones the other loops bolt to) Bolt the 2 peices together to form a complete loop around the shaft after bending them to fit....mark the spot to drill the holes, drill then install.
I forget what the NHRA thickness requirment is, I think HD has up to 2.5" flat stock.
