Does any body know which Belltech or similiar drop spindle to use on our G-body so we can run 12" Brake conversion ? if anyone has a part# I would greatly appreciate you input

Alan

BellTech used to offer some 2" drop spindles specified for the Fullsize B-body Impala SS, but I don't see them listed on their site, I see the CAR they have them installed on (Automotive Performance link on www.belltechcorp.com ), but no reference to the part number anymore. It used to be there!

Not that you asked, :), but, depending on how you drive the car, the Baer's might be a better choise. They use stock spindles, and with cut springs, you can get the car low, have good brakes, and no major bump steer issues. The drop spindles, force the top of the tire out, on bump, so that limits the tire size you can use up front. And by cutting the springs, you can get to having a negative camber change, like the tall B spindles give you.

After playing with the B stuff, my next move is going with the adjustable upper A-Arms, and the Baer set-up (with cut springs).

Spdrcer34"Ryan" thanks for you input I tried looking at the belltech site and couldnt find it either,

Bruce this is interesting I always loved the in the weeds "LOOK" done this to all my cars but I usually veer from the cutting of springs cause they weaken after that if not done correct easier to buy the new springs car is goin on 20... whats your thought on lowering springs like eibach or H&R etc would you think this is better way to access that down low look..I want the look and functionality as well Im new to this turbo buick should have got one from jumpstreet but oh well live and learn...any idea on how much a kit from Baer would run on a G-body?
