DS fan runs all the time???

Anyone have an idea as to why the DS fan runs all the time...be the motor cold or hot? I'm wondering if it's turning off at cruising speed??? I'm fairly new to the TTA and havn't quite yet found my way around the entire engine compartment...TIA

Lemme guess... ATR pitbull chip in the car? My ATR chip left the DS fan on at all times unless you were going over 35mph, then it would temp cycle the fan. ATR called this an "exclusive feature" in their brochure. I called it "annoying."

If you don't have an ATR chip, it might be a similar feature in the chip you're running, or a sticky relay. The DS fan is ECM controlled and a relay might be stuck.

I'd check the chip first, then have a look at the relay.
