Dual fan & relay questions.......

I just installed new f body fans w/ Casper relay harness kit the fans work fine but why do i the fans quit working when i disconnect the factory relays ? Can i tap into the fan temp sensor for my vdo coolant temp gauge?

No, the old relays trigger the new relays which are designed to take the heavy current load off the stock wiring.
