I rebuilt a 200 4R for the first time this past spring. I have CK's book on rebuilding and followed everyhthing in there but dual feeding the direct. Just one of those moments I guess. Anyway I am losing drive again. I am going to take the tranny out soon to fix this. I am assuming that I have a burn't clutch pack. I am happy with everything else the tranny does and 2-3 used to be very crisp at full throttle when the build was new. I am making around 500 hp from motor in an 87 WE4. Just looking for all the advice I can get here. I don't know about you guys, but pulling tranny's out of cars is not my favorite thing to do. I can find much more interesting things to do.

Losing Drive

The 2-3 shift is getting softer and longer. I don't feel it is slipping once engaged tho. At fulll throttle the motor will rev up quite a bit when it shifts. I run the tranny a quart over full and the 1-2 shift is crisp at full throttle.
