Actually, it's true. I have a Thrasher92 sitting in my toolbox (thanks Scott).
I never dropped a chip into a TR, although I've put a few custom PROM's in the 'Stang.
I assume I remove the passenger kick panel. Is there are test port on the EEC, like with Fords? Fords have a rubber plug that you remove, then you clean the contacts with an emory cloth for good connection and plug in your chip. Same with the TR? Any special steps such as a key-on/ignition-off cycle, etc.?
I couldn't find anything on gnttype.org.
