Howdy,

Has anyone ever actually tried to duplicate the 1990 Electra Estate Wagon concept detailed in the GnTtype.org GM Enthusiant -1990 Buick Concept Cars article? Based on the info in the article, it was some sort of stockish LC2 (probably TTA service motors based) and probably 9C1 suspension based. The interior is listed as 4 buckets so I'm guessing again 9C1 buckets with custom brackets for the rear buckets. Probably a modified L05 TBI tank on the fuel supply. Anyone have any more info?

I saw that car or maybe a duplicate at the GeeSCA nationals one year. IIRC 1993? It had a GNX motor complete with a GNX shield on the turbo. I dont recall the four bucket seats though.

It wouldn't be hard for me to duplicate it. Lots of neat parts made for the B-body between 1980-1990. Just treat it like the old 78-80 LeSabre Sport Coupe. Some of the trick parts I would use. Aluminum hood from 1980. Aluminum bumper supports. Fiberglass tailgate. Ditch the third seat and roof rack. Buckets and console from a G-body. Since the advent of the 94-96 Impala SS there have been a lot of interest from the aftermarket on this chassis. There are even some goodies for the rear of the wagons now. Not much has changed on the 77-96 B-body frame over the years so everything interchanges.

Good good info. From what I've seen the cars are dirt cheap too. Might make a good test roller for my Turbo6 to get the L67 ECM ironed out

Agreed on those enlarged and bulked up cars but my '64 Riviera is going to be around 4000lbs anyway.

Final ride.

An Electra T Wagon would be an awesome ride to trick out. That would be a cool way to go.

Got to love that Buick Chariot of yours TF38, I would rather be taken to the boneyard in a Buick Hearse as nice as yours then in a Caddy. The wheels you have on it really give it a Sporty but Classic look. One of the Nicest hearses I've ever seen except for maybe BootHill express or the Munster's hearse. Infact Unique did a Cadillac hearse for Tony Stewart as far as exterior looks ie. wheels, tires, airbrush artwork, paint job, they had nothing on your Buick. Yours is Straight up Clean..and not over done..........

If you have a pic or 2 of the RoadMaster SW could you post them ..Would love to have a 95 RoadMaster woody with airbag suspension and Torque Thrust2's. I tried talking my wife into getting a older low mileage Chevy or Buick SW and at the least maybe a new Magnum SW with a faux Hemi but she wanted a Infinity QX4 she didn't want a ugly boat!:frown:

My grandfather was a Buick man, infact that's what I learned to drive in. A 56 Buick RoadMaster V8, Dynaglide, the Chrome front end with a huge chrome bullet bumper guards, not to crazy of wings, wonder bar radio, electric seat, huge steering wheel , chrome all over the cool dashboard, a nice solid beautiful car. Actually didn't learn to drive per se' he would let me sit on his lap and let me steer that Boat when I was only 5 years old. It was cool driving that Classic down backroads.
