dutweiller neck stock intercooler

does any one know what these stock inter with the dutweiller necks flow, how far will they take you, i need to get about 500hp out of this motor to go where i need to go.can it be done with this intercooler.

how much are these intercooler worth, maybe i'll just sell it if its to small.

500 RWHP or 500 crank HP?

500 Crank HP with a stock intercooler/Duttweiler neck is doable. 500 RWHP is asking a little much.

A stock intercooler with a big neck will run low 11's and 120 mph in a full weight GN with a good motor.

well the cars wt is 2460lbs and iam getting ready to put a 63-70 turbo on it and rrally want to push it in the high 9's to low 10's and iam trying to find out if this can happen with this intercooler or i should just sell it now and save for a power stroke intercooler.

If its for drag racing only, Iceboxing the stocker you get you to your goals for very cheap.

dut neck

Just wondering, I see that mease sells a stock appearing intercooler with dut neck for about 150.00. Is this a mod to your cooler or do they send a complete new unit?

This is how I think it works...

It's a refab of a stock unit. You pay $150 and trade in your old stocker. If you want to keep your stocker, I believe the cost is $250. In other words, Keith buys your stock intercooler for $100 and sells you a refurbished stock intercooler with the dutt neck. (Then your old intercooler is used for the next dutt neck mod they do to sell to someone else.) IMO, it's a pretty good deal after paying something like $75 for the dutt neck then getting it welded and the intercooler refinished; it'll probably cost you close to that anyhow.

So what is the definition of a good motor ?? What kind of combo basic to max out a dut neck intercooler ?? I might not have the money this year to get a real trick interdooler and am wondering the limits of the stock dut neck combo ?

What are the performance advantages as compared to a pte front mount, stretched stock and a dut neck ??
