Dye fuel to find a leak

Trying to find the location of a leak. On a carb. LEAKS so much it's hard to tell the location. Could I put some food coloring to see the location easier?

What kind of carb? Fresh gaskets? Well plugs put in with marine tex sealant if it is a qjet?
