Quite Impressive.Makes me wonder what a properly tuned progressive setup could do on a motor like mine.Too bad I have traded the motor for another car and can't play with it anymore.Might be interested in testing it out on the TA aluminum motor that is going to replace it though.

I think it would ROCK :D

Properly tuned.. geesh.. :) i'm just a little lucky. Gotta give props to Dr. Steve Yaklin for his fine support.

Its a good thing he doesnt make a 65lb injector program for the ME-r..

I went in and checked some of the supercars torque numbers...

For example Pagini Zonda, Ferrari Enzo and F50, Lambo Diablo, Koenigsegg all have less torque than Julios car. Thoose cars are mostly V12, and not V6 hehe...

Wanted to tell you guys about it just to make you realize how much power it is in it now :)

On the dyno, you could tell that car was making some torque. Hit the gas and it giddied up and went! You could hear the converter flare up and the boost hit. BAM!

So, tell us, what mods does it take to run low 11's on pump gas besides ALKY? Whats your setup? Dieing to know!

Nick,
TE67 w/69 trim, 210/205 Reed flat tappet cam, single chain, ported intake, 160 stat, ported heads, FM IC, 65 lb inj, ME-r at 18 degree base, 3600 9x11 Billet, walbro 307, THDP, stock 58 MM TB, stock pistons, stock bottom end, and an alky kit

Basically a little cam, heads, bigger turbo.. open the airflow on the motor.. it makes the numbers. Nothing special.

Just pay attention to what its telling you. Learn from that. Make adjustments that affect it in a positive way. Done.

I think 28-30 PSI on this bottom end it will scatter. I may find out Friday/Saturday. I'll see how the motor responds .. and make the call.

And your tranny works flawless so far ? How old since rebuild ?

Awesome dyno pull man! Are your 65lb inj. the new high Z ones? I just bought a TA64/.63 ex and was wandering what size inj. you would advise me to get? I run the SMC dual nozzle kit. I know with alky you don't need as big of inj. like you would with race gas. I'm going to Reynolds Saturday and would like to talk to you and see your car.

Daniel.. flawless. Feb this year.

His trick was raising the line pressures, really tight clearances, and the modding the stock filter.

Cutter, nah.. these are the low imp ones. I ran 11.24 with the 50's at 80% DC.

See ya Saturday, hopefully in one piece
:D

Just Awesome Julio!!
---I need some stumps pulled out of my pasture and the local bulldozer guy is tiedup for a month. Ya think I can tie a few stumps to your rear bumper?

Julio, in your vid, shortly after you roll on it, the thing bogs, is the TCC locked or that the alky coming on?

Jim,
See the ME-r needs to be flashed past 5k to get it out of spoolup mode. So when he slammed the pedal down the 3600 converter flashed past 5k then I locked the converter. At that time is when he hit the switch on the dyno.

Kinda weird but the chip used is not dyno friendly. So the bog sound was from the 9x11 getting locked. hence why I only did two pulls.

That revolver had a bullet I missed twice and was happy :D

If alky bogged it like that..power would have been in the 300's with an AFR like 9:1. And looking at the AFR graphs you can see its flat.. not too bad for novice street tuning. Tho a little less fuel in the 4600-4800 range would have been nice.
