Early Champion GN1 heads

Any experiences with the early GN1 aluminum heads? Times and reliability issues primarily. My uncle bought a set of the 14 bolt heads with the silver Scorpion rockers. I will upgrade with ARP rocker and head stud kits. They will not ever see heavy duty action but the 109 build should have high nine ability.
