Well, it may be hard. But you know, it seems like it'll be sorta fun and exciting to make this car fast. And even more rewarding when I get to pop the hood and show em' its a hotair that just handed them their @$$. :)

I'm actually starting to compile some of these different mods now. Getting the little stuff out of the way first so I can make room for the big things. (Intercooler perhaps?)

Its always fun and exciting when you get a car that you own and spend time on going fast. I've got many mods that i need to buy/install myself, but i think im going to stay away from an intercooler. Thats what I think makes these cars so cool.

Yeah man, what I think makes it the most fun is when you do it yourself and you get to see that your hard work has produced something. (Power to the wheels, that is) I'm just excited as to the possibilities I can take this thing.

I agee 100 %. I think that I am there but driving it is one thing logs and test runs prove it. I will retest and verify. Let you know. Brad

Way back in the early 90's, cutting a hole in the stock down pipe and putting a dump cap on seemed to help my GN friends and it certainly helped me go from 13.20 to 12.90 with no other mods other than good gas, K&N filter adjustable fuel PSI regulator ...even a stock chip. It's a very cheap mod to do. Good luck. You'll probably surprise yourself with how great these cars react to mods.

The biggest bit of advice I can give any hot air owner on this board is TIME!!!! Take the time and make the little adjustments to see what works. That means real time and data whether it be a data logger or a note pad. Last the only true way to see what works is to get to your local dragstrip and test all your theories. The seat of the pants feeling may feel good but is very deceiving. Men lie, Women lie, but numbers don't lie.

Boostmaster has always said that, and I agree. Here is what you need;
Patience (keep praying for it), meticulous records, a good chip (TT is the man!), and data (PL is your friend).

"In GOD we trust, all other must provide data" :eek:
