I've been watching a brand new eaton posi with bearings, everything i need. I really really really need a posi, the open differential doesn't quite cut it. I haven't been looking at them for very long and i'm not sure what there worth, so what would you guys sugest for a top dollar? OR does anyone here have a posi they need to let go of? thanks for the help!

A brand new after market Eaton goes for between $295 and $315. I wouldnt pay more than $150 for a used original Eaton.
You have to be aware that the after market is superior since it has a lot more preload on the clutches thanks to the coil springs used to preload the clutches. The factory Eaton uses steel "S" springs. I would recommend Bill at Western Drivetrain which is located in Colorado. I buy all of my rear axle parts from him. Great guy with great prices and he knows his axles. He has been a plethora of knowledge when it comes to advice.

National Drivetrain gets $365 for their Eaton. I just bought one from Western Drivetrain the other day for $315.
