I have been looking on ebay and looking GN collectible stuff. Ive been ordering a few things here and there. I have had great service with people there so far. (knock on wood) Ive bought a few other things that Ive waiting to come in, but they are on the way.

Anyone have any tips to give out to a new ebay user?

I did good on eby for 3 years striaght. but I got burned on selling a motor once. had to give a refund, now a have the biggest paper-weight i know of sitting on a shelf in the garage. did, everything i was supposed to, sent pictures, checked a no refund policy. but ebay and paypal do what they want- no matter what the rules you agreed to are.

and, i would not have minded helping the guy out a litlle bit. but he used info i gave him to buy a complete cheaper motor and stuck me. also, he had ran a dingleberry down one bank on this block and had grinded and welded on it. I had police reports made (the cops could plainly see the difference in the pictures from ebay and what he sent back.) nothing mattered to ebay or paypal.

I would also try to buy stuff from members here, i've done ok here. and the prices are sometimes better. don't forget the events, gs nats and renyolds, etc. i did real good at the 2008 nats, spent about 3 grand in 3 days. but i got a ton of small stuff (probably would have cost 6 grand from ebay) to help rebuild and modify a complete car.

I have some stuff to sell, but alot of people do send lowball offers, and even i like to help people out,(alot of people have helped me) but some people just want it for free and would be happier if you paid the shipping also.
