ECM location?

i know this might be a silly question, but where is the ecm located on my 87 gn? the car came w an aftermarket chip in it and i want to find out the brand. if it is a turbo tweak chip i get a 30$ core charge on an new chip which is what i need cuz i just installed 60# injectors and have alky injection

The passenger side kickpanel. It's actually in an extension of the kickpanel......take a look and it will be obvious. Just "unsnap" it by pulling the bottom outward. Clear as mud? :wink:

is under the passanger side kick panel.
