Will a Monte CArlo SS ECm work in a Gn?

well since no one else has chimed in i am pretty sure i am correct on this one . someone correct me if i am wrong but . you need to match up the numbers on the ecm this i know. but you will need to use your prom chip from the turbo car to run in that ecm. look at your numbers on there and see if they match if not no dice!

Don't have one handy to match up numbers to. I have a chip to use and I can get a monte ecm for free.

99% sure this is the ecm number you need. i assume this is an 86 or87 GN? this is the number you need#1227148 ECM. if thats not the ecm out of the monte you can get one out of junk yard from an old gm front wheel drive car just needs to have that number on it an old buick or olds will have this number i believe pontiac too. but thats the number you need to look for and your golden
