My after market cd player is flickering on and off. I hear a clicking noise coming from the ECM area. I just replaced the dash. It was fine earlier. Any ideas?

Check all the ground wire connections on and around the dash.

I will any ideas how many there are or how I can find out. Just in case I missed one or can't see it?

I have not replaced a dash yet, but I know the are some black wire grounds around the ECM and heater box area. Also some relays may have been attached to dash mounting screws and possibly been missed when re installed? gntype.org may have some ground info on their site?

Here you go G104, G107, and G220. If double checking the grounds doesn't pan out start pulling fuses one at a time until you find the clicking. I would start with the CIG CLK Fuse. Let us know how it turns out.

Car don't have a power antenna does it? I've seen them set there and run making a clicking noise when they strip out or go bad

Just a thought made since with the flickering lights on the cd having a power draw from the antenna

It works. I think the computer just had to reset. All the grounds were set.
