I have a turbo tweak chip with egr turned off I have the block off plate installed. I was wondering if rather than plugging the vacuum line that goes to the egr solenoid If I could just run my boost gague from there?
my thought would be that there would be less chance for leaks than teeing the map line.

There should be a check valve on the vacuum line to the egr valve. That would keep you from getting a boost signal on that line. You might want to tee in to the charcoal canaster vacuum line instead.Very easy to get to.

Yes you can do this as this is how I have mine done. And yes you do not want the line to the map sensor to break or leak especially if running an alky kit that utilizes the map sensor.
