Egr question

I was thinking about removing my egr valve but I'm worried about the block off plate leaking. Do any of them seal well?

Yeah I did a search and everything I found seemed like there were slot of complaints about them leaking

Get the good one with Buick engraved on it, a light coat of high temp sealant, and tighten it down.

The side showing goes down on the intake manifold and is indexed with the plug going in to the matching hole.

The other side which will be seen when installed is highly polished.

I used the same block off with a new gm gasket (no sealant) w/o any issues.

Too if running a RJC powerplate, the egr circuit is blocked.
