I'm thinking of putting an EGT probe in the factory O2 bung and running a gauge in the car with FP. Is anyone else using EGT to tune and what are normal EGTs pre-turbo with our cars? Does it vary with pump gas/alky and race gas/alky? I like the idea that the EGT doesn't need to be calibrated. Basically I'm concerned about the accuracy of most widebands on a regular basis and I want to take my tuning to the next level. Any feedback/previous experience with pyrometers in a TR is greatly appreciated.
