Uh... looks great (I suppose). Have any pics that show the IC? Or am I missing something. I was thinking of putting an electric IC fan. I even have one laying around the house that I never bothered with.

You can just barely see the fan motor between the wastegate pipe and down pipe
BTW for those that don't notice it the valve cover is a pretty Sage green :)

I will take another pic tonight, let me soak up a few beers.

Here is another pic if your interested.

Did you notice any difference? I would like to do mine when I upgrade my stocker, it seems like the way to go, but not many people do it.

After you have more beers,,,Stand Funking farther aways from the car:) :) :) :) :)
I will have that pic you wanted of the Down Pipe soon.....

I have one for my car but do not have it on yet. When I get the rest of the car sorted out (next year) I plan to do extensive testing using MAT sensors in various locations, and under various conditions, using first the stock fan, then the electric fan, to see what effect it has on temps. I think it will help prevent heat soak, but I doubt that it will drop the actual WOT temp much with a stock IC, there's just not enough surface area on it. Only testing will tell you for sure though. Gimme time.

Would be interested to know what make/model fan you used, I have to use an electric IC fan, setting up 85 Riviera with stock IC, and the 86-7 stock IC fan will not fit between the weird Riviera motor mount assembly ( U shaped stamping under crank pulley). While not practical for some cars, your firewall sans heater/AC box and no hood seal must help get some airflow through IC and radiator, plus some air can go up and over rather than under car.

ACLR8R- I dont drive the car, trans broke last year and ive only put 15 miles on this combo. Surely this fan flows more air than the stock IC fan, plus no weight on the balancer from the fan.

I should have used my RJC pulley that doesnt have the bolt holes, but that went on another motor.

Bandaid- send me a pic, let me know if i can buy it. I will post another pic, its not perty, but different.

INEEDAGN let us know what you find out

TRiv- This is a spal fan i purchase from a buddy here in KC, it is a aftermarket fan for a aftermarket IC on a 91 Toyota MR2 turbo.
I think i posted in the tech section a few links to EBAY for electric fans, just do a search for thin electric fan on ebay, or search here for electric fan under my user name.
