What's a good way to tie in a sensor to control the electric fan? I only see a couple places on the engine to use, but one is filled with the ECU temp sensor, and the other is for the idiot light.

I wanted to hook up an after market guage as well, so I suppose I need two ports for water temp (one for fan control and one for guage sending unit).

How have ya'll got around this puzzle?

Thanks, Brew

Brew,
Most people end up (sooner or later) switch to the 87 ECM.
From there, it is controlled by the ECM as programmed in the chip.

Manual on/off .... or .... I remember reading somewhere that a local parts store sells a sensor that mounts to the radiator ...... don't remember where i read it.
