Hi again, I need some info how to replace the Electrical Connector seal O Ring?
On the tranny manual it only shows the electrical connector and O ring, but doesn't show how to remove or replace the O ring. Would anyone have any idea on how to replace this O ring? Thanks

I checked more on this site and found member SSedan64 on April 1, has answered to another member with the same question.

I'm gathering after removing the electrical plug, on the side of the electrical connector is a tab you push in and pull out the connector to be replace.

Or do I have to drop the tranny pan down in order to make both outside connector and inside conector meet toegther?

If this procedure correct or incorrect please let me know.

Thanks again SSedan64

Plan on pulling the trans pan. If you tried to get it out without doing so, you would likely break the locking tab that holds it in, and your odds of getting the inside wiring plugged in are slim. And it's gonna make a mess either way.

Thanks for the heads up I really didn't want to drop the pan down, it's not leaking that bad at all. I Saw very very little tranny fluid around the "O" seal, and since I was replacing the manual shaft seal I would also replace the "O" ring seal, but not to drop the pan.

Thanks again

Can try cleaning it good with 'Brake Clean' & smear some Sealant around the plug/connector. Beats dropping the Pan for a small leak.
Sometimes they leak where the wires/terminals come thru the Plug if the sealant inside has cracked, best option then = new Plug.

Thank you, I think I will use brake clean and use some sealant; maybe in the future when I replace the tranny filter is when I will replace the plug. Thanks again.
