Electronic Rust Prevention device.

I have an Electronic rust prevention device I took off one of my old car. The car was an 04.....so it was not that old......it had no rust on it but dont know if that was due to its age or...... When I saw the device it was not hooked up. I took it off and forgot about it. Anyone have any experience with this type of device......does it work? I know the theory is sound.....the Navy has been using electronic rust prevention on its moth balled fleet. Anyone have an input on this? Not sure if it still works (powers on). May try to get it working.

saw something about these on the powerblock the other day, i don't have personal experience but hey if its just a few wires it can't hurt regardless if it ends up snake oil or not - atleast you can say you have one

I remember seeing those in JCWhitney back in the day...sounded like a good idea...if it worked, I'm sure everyone would put these on their cars, kind of like the Gas Savers...
