Whats up with people feeling the need to forward you 5000 emails a day of little jokes, stupid pictures, chain letters... It seems like theres a % of the population that thinks this is cool. I'm gonna call them Habitual Email Forwarders.

We got a new Gunny in my division and this guy sends me, and everyone else in the division like 10 emails a day of stuff I just delete.

Im trying to understand how people are so dumb to not realize how annoying this is.

Anyone else deal with this problem?

I think it is mostly the people who have just discovered the internet and want to "contribute". I just block the ones who send it to me all the time.

It has been sad but ironicly fortunate that So Florida where my niece lives is without power. She sends us all these emails written in internet ebonics (i luv u 2) and 50% of them are chain letter surveys with about 50 questions such as "Do u like kats?". Even my wife says she doesn't have time for that stuff and she's the patient one.

At some point I think you have to just tell the person. Wouldnt it be easier with a family member?

The worst are the ones that say Pass It Along too only 1 person and get bad luck..too 10 people get good luck..25 or more a wish will come true..etc.etc.

Man, I hate those. Like I have nothing better to do than to help with THEIR agenda and superstitions. What if ya don't even have that many people on yor email list???
