Where could I find info/template for emblem location?

Has anyone bothered to check the veracity of those measurements? The one thing I've learned over the years is, just because it says something on gnttype dot org, doesn't mean it's true. Those emblems in those pix look very poorly installed.
Maybe someone on here has a known originally installed set they can measure and compare.
I know for a fact my trunk emblem was not installed as low as the one pictured.
