Emissions Tests question

I recently purchased a TR and need to get it registered but will require an inspection. I'm not sure if it will require an emissions test for that. Does anyone know if it does? Also, what chip(s) do you guys use for emissions test?

I also noticed my vapor canister and PCV are MIA. The valve covers were changed and they have no hole for the PCV. Would these itmes have a severe impact for passing emissions tests?

Thanks in advance!

PCV is in the intake manifold, passenger side on the floor of the intake underneath the runners.

Not sure what kind of inspection is required up in the Dallas area so someone local to ya will have to chime in on that. May try the email list for the Buick club up there: www.lspbc.org

By what do you mean under the runners? Thanks for the info, at least I don't have to worry about changing the valve cover. Did the PCV connect to a check valve?
