They are having that airplane racing at the Texas Motor Speedway. Not sure what to make of it but I guess it would be cool.
I would love to come to the salt flats. Definately on my bucket list. And that maxton mile thing on the east coast. And drag week looks like a rush. I want to participate, not just go watch.

Mix it up. Keep it fresh. Think outside the box. Eclectic. Swamp buggy racing? Baja 1000? Sure! We love and live for automotive ingenuity, but give us stuff that we haven't seen before. These local race communities would more than roll out the red carpet for anyone who's willing to promote their sport.

I agree and that's why I like these cars, just a little different. Not a LS hater but every car in every mag seems to be getting a LS engine:rolleyes: People in this hobby sure seem to be like sheep and just follow. When a trend starts they all seem to flock to it. Remember Pro Street? Where are all those cool cars?

Sorry, but no more Maxton mile. The facility was sold and the event had to be relocated. I'm not sure but I think it went to some place up in the Ohio area. Really sucks because it was almost local to me so due to my budget there goes my hopes of participating.
