well we thank that it is a 1974 Buick 455. but we need to know for shure. the intake casting # B-1244948-1 Head casting # MP 1241861 and it has an external 73 casting # on the # 1 exh. runner. and the block casting # is 1241748. No ser.# stamped on the bell housing. The block is red paint. Does the heads have the harden sets? All imfo would be nice to know. My friend got it for free just by knowing that it was a Buick. That was the deal. Just to tell the guy that it was a buick and he got it for free Lucky ass.

Block casting number 1241748 looks like it is a 72-80 Buick 350.
