Hello all.

I'm looking for the straight/simple answer to this question by the people who would know--the engine builders.

Should a mainly street driven car use synthetic or regular oil?? I mean everywhere tranny, engine, rear end. If you recommend a blend, then at what split??

Thanks alot for your time,

Ravi

Either is fine. The synthetic is harder to break down though. You want to use regular oil for break in.Then switch to synthetic.I have had great luck with synergyn oils.Of course thats because my dad in law is a vendor of synergyn.Works great.
