Had my 87 gn apart for serveral years. I took great pictures on the driver side of the engine bay, but not on the passenger side with the fendor off.
I can not figure out how the engine harness routes around the heater box. There is to much harness leftover above the engine when I route it directly through the two metal hangers on the bottom side of the fan box and around the front.
Here are my questions.
-Does anyone have any pictures of this area with the passenger fender off?
-Is there a website with a more detailed diagram than a GM dealer has? Theirs suck.
-Does the firewall grommet faces up. I mean, as the harness makes the 90 degree, does it turn upwards? The metal bracket that holds the gromment in place does not align up to the two screw holes in the firewall when the gromment faces upward. They align up perfectly when the gromment faces downwards, which does not make sense.
-Does the harness routes up to the top of the fan box, then does a 180 turn back down to the hanger, than routes around the front of the heater box, below the air condition lines?
Please help.
