A friend and I decided to make some transmission fixtures for an engine stand. We made a couple for ourselves and had enough material to do a few more. Basically you bolt this fixture to your transmission, and then put it in your engine stand to work on your transmission. I prefer this over a benchmount fixture, because you can move it where needed or out of the way.

Talk about solid, this thing is made of 1/2 inch thick carbon steel and heavy duty hardware. The main hoop was not welded, or heated with a torch and bent into shape. I ordered the steel from my supplier already sheared like that. In the pics you can see me standing on top of a fully assembled 200-4R and I weigh 180 libs. It will fit the 2004-R, 200, 350, 400 transmission. I think it will fit a 4L60E and 4L80E as well, but cant confirm that, as I dont have one here to be 100% sure.

Looking for $110 plus shipping each. Fixture only, not the stand. It will fit a standard engine stand with a 2.25 inside diameter on the stand. trans fixture7.jpgtrans fixture1.jpgtrans fixture2.jpgtrans fixture3.jpgtrans fixture4.jpg

That will make it easy for any tranny repairs or just to store your spare tranny up out of the floor.

Shipped one out yesterday. Heavy piece, shipping in the continental US will be $20.
