engine tie down

could some one tell me if any one carries an engine tie down for the hot air cars the ones they offer for the ic models don't work for us. if any one has fabricated one can you tell me were you mount them on the engine and what materials you used to make it.

Forget about the tie down, get a poly engine mount for the drivers side from HR Parts.

The tie down is supposed to really cut down on false knock, which helps when you lay into it as the sudden torque seems to alway make the ESC retard the timing of a frame or two. I'd think using it in conjunction with the poly mounts would really keep everything stable underhood.

i've got both poly mounts on my car,and you do not need a tiedown with them.
