Looking for a nice SBC motor for another one of my projects. Something more than 350hp. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? Also anyone know of any good engine builders in state?

I'm up here in Jacksonville, I have a friend who is selling a built small block chevy. I think he is asking 2500-3000, but may neg..
I know that he has over 5000 tied up in the engine..

The GM ZZ4 crate motor w/hot cam and 1.6 rockers will put you there or the fast burn crate motor. Pretty darn reasonable and dependable and a warranty.

The ZZ4 can handle a freakin beating ..I mean beating !!!! .

For the price, new parts....Alum heads, 4 bolt main, forged crank, PM rods(good to 500 HP), high silicon pistons, roller valvetrain, oil pan, intake, etc.

No machine shop fees tough to beat 355 hp 405 ft lbs for under $ 4k.

Ive got a SBC in my T Type im looking to sell.

Quick run down:

.030 forged TRWs
Edelbrock RPM heads fully ported
Solid roller
all ARP bolts
steel crank with eagle rods
serpentine set up off late model chevy truck with ac and underdrive pulleys
ported Victor Jr
full MSD ignition with 6AL

lots of other stuff.Ive got over $8k in the engine and its got less than 1k miles.Lookin to get $4k OBO for the whole shebang and im in AL.
