It is time for a sticky on the following topic:

What cam/Help me pick a cam/Is this a good cam

The next person that asks what cam should I run without searching should be Court Marshaled, Shot, AND Sent to the Russian Front.

You better be careful - I live in Silver Spring too, and I know Sgt. Schultz :p

You might already know: I try to make it to Burtonsville (29 and 198) on Sunday mornings for one of the best crusies I know of and usually eat too much pizza with a bunch of Buick guys on the first Tuesday of the month at the North laurel Pizza Hut (Rt. 1, about a mile or two North of old downtown Laurel on the right side if your are North bound on rt1)

Maybe I'll see you some time:cool:

ah, up at the cvs. good times
i try to make it every weekend... but i oversleep quite often :(

Solid or roller?

Should I buy a 212 or a 218?

Help, I'm lost.

my car has 1,000 miles on it all orginal is the stock cam good  ;)

LOL

Doubt I'll make it this Sunday due to Saturday night plans, but then they are calling for rain on Sunday anyway

There's dozens of "sticky" threads we should have around here. Just off the top of my head....

-What's the widest tire I can fit on stock rims
-What are the first mods I should do
-Which exhaust to buy

But on the bright side I guess seeing people ask the same questions all the time means there is always someone new looking to learn more about these cars and how to make them fast... but they should still use the search function. :p

Agreed

New cam issues, phillosophy, theory, problems...OK, there maybe a question to be answered there, but the what cam question is easy - they all work and not much is needed as the stocker goes 10's

Use the cam that has bumps on it :)

I saw an interesting idea the other day, about having a wiki for some specific auto marque. We could have a TR specific wikipedia. Would be kinda like the Turbo Regal web site, but everyone would be able to contribute without having to run it through the site owners. Collective knowledge might be easier to maintain that way.
