erradic idle at inconsistent times

So here is the problem guys, Sometimes, not all the time, although it seems as though it is getting more frequent, when i come to a stop the car idles down real low like it wants to stall and I have to kinda give it gas to wake it up again. If you were to acceralate when it is doing this it is lacking serious power. At times it feels as though it shifted to early causing it to bog down. As far as i know no one has ever played with the TV cable. I have checked the TPS and it falls within range at idle and WOT. Hopefully someone out there has some suggestions or advice about what may be causing this. Thanks Nathyn

Ive got a somewhat related problem. It idles rough all of the time and when I start it after sitting it idles real high and wont idle down, then I shut it off after it warms up and start it again and it idles down but it is still rough.
