My dad was building a 200 4r for his 455 Buick regal when he passed away, fast forward 5 years later i finally got the drive train in, What i know about the trans from what i remember,the trans was from t regal, Monte SS valve body. billet servo, trans go shift kit, upgraded pump, B&M lockup switch, red strip converter.
1 The problem I'm having it wont downshift from drive when i come to a stop unless I manually shift it
2 when i manually shift the trans from 1st into 2nd it wont shift into 2nd gear, then i shift it to drive and it skips 2nd all together but if i down shift to 2nd it will go no problem.
3 when I shift into OD at cruising speed it just free revs
I'm just trying to get this thing ironed out.Thanks guys
