Almost time for a new set of tires for the track. I currently have Hoosier QTPs. I am leaning towards either the Hoosier Drags or Mickey Thompson ET Drags in 28 x 9.
I am lazy and hate changing tires at the track. Can one drive 20 miles or so to the track on these tires? I realize that they are not legal to drive on the street, but can they be used in dry conditions? Has anyone done this?
