Exhaust Gaskets

Just looking for some advice. Do most run gaskets on the stock manifolds or not? I am having the manifolds thermal barrier coated and undecided on what to do.

You don't HAVE to, if the flanges are completely flat. If they have been welded while not bolted to a head, they can become warped and not seal. I run them, don't see a reason not to. They are a little more than $5.00 per set at Rock Auto...
