exhaust manifold studs

On exhaust manifold which ones get the studs? Installing new ta headers and it's been a long winter. Completely forgot. Thx in advance

Stock headers are all studs..... only the dip stick and AC/Alt bracket are used.

I have KB headers and use studs on drivers side first 2 uppers get them for the alt.bracket and dipstick tube. passenger side first lower and last upper get them. Not saying this is the right way to do it but works for me.

I have the long stud in the Drivers Front Top for the Alt bracket and the medium stud in the Driver Front Lower for the A/C bracket IIRC. Used the long Bolt for the dipstick. Can't say 100% it is as intended but it works.

Thx for info and pics boys. I was thinking just bolt up any way see what needs what and switch the around but I didn't want to compromise seal..

Drivers side front two for alternator brackets. Top middle for the dipstick.
