I have an 1987 GN with a Hooker cat-back system. Is it worth the trouble to install Poston headers, 3" Downpipe, coated crossover pipe, and a low restricted cat ? Or go with a real dual exhaust w/ 2 cats feeding the Hooker mufflers and tail pipes? Thanks Guys!

as far as the headers: unless yours are just beyond the point of repair I wouldn't bother. what little you gain isn't worth the $$$.
(some very fast cars that are running the stock units) If the crossover is a one piece design it won't hurt (the 2-piece I got from them for an 85 I had was a pain to get fitted) John's performance does offer a 1-piece stainless unit that I like a lot.
If your state does have an emissions program than a 3" cat would be a good idea. Downpipes go with the Houston or ATR
(the houston is more readily available)

No such thing as true dual exhaust on a GN unless you're running twin turbos.
