The Extender Chip (Rev F) offers several standard options for wastegate control:
Wastegate % -low/high gear
1 - 60/50
2 - 70/60
3 - 80/75
4 - 85/80--- about 16 psi with the stock wastegate, good street setting
5 - 90/85
6 - 95/90
7 - 100/95--- Typical race setting, about 19 to 20 psi (stock wastegate)
x - Custom wastegate setting
*IF* the Extender was to be used with the BstC controller and an adjustable wastegate, is there any reason Not to simply select a custom setting of
"100/100" ?

ie, Keep it simple, use Wastegate Rod Length to mechanically set the "base" or minimum boost level, and then use the BstC electronic controller to easily set & adjust any desired Boost Levels higher than the mechanical minimum.

Other pertinent info:
-- stock turbo & wastegate.
-- adjustable wastegate rod.
-- Delphi 50lb injectors & walbro 340 pump.
-- set "base" wastegate rod length so that it never knocks with intended fuel (I'm guessing up to 15-16 psi ??).
-- intended daily fuel: 98-100 octane, either 100 unleaded, or 91 Calif pump gas w/ 30% xylene added (est 98 octane).
-- on the rare occasions I'd take the car to the track, I'd probably use VP C16 fuel.
-- MAYBE a dual wastegate solenoid for 0-12 psi control above base (??)

Pros/ Cons?

TIA
