External wastegate DP ?'s

Guys i searched first and couldn't find any info.
Please bear with the noob questions.
TYIA for any help.

I am getting ready to install the next stage of upgrades next week...
My plans are to do downpipe, alky, injectors, and then move onto turbo, converter after all is well with these.

So this brings me to my concerns........
Being as I will do the downpipe before the new turbo...
Wondering what to do as far as wastegate and boost control.
Will order the one from full throttle with an external gate and boost controller.

So am I just going to remove the stock wastegate actuator and bolt up the new pipe with external gate?

Or do I need to keep a wastegate actuator on a stock turbo?

Do I need any different boost lines to do this?

Anything else I should be prepared for (knowledge and parts) before I start with the DP?

You dont need the stock WG anymore. I would also get a manual boost controller from RJC or Turbonetics.
