hey guys and gals how hard is it to install and use and tune the F.A.S.T systems

It is not that hard to install.

Tuning it is user friendly, but that assumes you know how to tune a car.

User friendly can be VERY dangerous.

If you are starting from scratch it could take weeks or months to get the bugs worked out.

if you are using a file from someone with a similar setup, then it will only take a few hours of tweaking.

Well i have been tuning 4 years now , and still changing the program weekly.:)

Otto, Otto, the point of a FAST vs. a stock ecm and soneone else's chip is that you are supposed to bring the tune to the parts, not the parts to the tune :-) :-). Course, changing both constantly just makes it like that old song about "two ships passing in the night" :-) :-). Do you think you will come south anytime next year, like to Englishtown or Cecil Co? It's always nice to meet another net-name face to face.

Yes, NExt year for sure.
Id like to go one more time this year but the cage isnt done yet
I just swapped my GTQ76 for a GTS76 and would like to see what its got in it.
But early spring i will take it to E-Town for my Lic passes

Otto,

Whats the difference between the 2?

THe differnce between the 2 i have
My GT76Q has a .70 compressor housing ( and Q trim ex)
The GTS had a .80 compressor housing
and am"S" trim exhaust wheel, Which is
about 1/8 to 1/4 " bigger in Diameter
The "posted" HP capability of each is
950 on the GTQ76
1100 on the GTS, THe difference
which i am told is made in the EX wheel and housing
I dont think i am near either power level
with my combo,But i wanted a direct bolt in turbo
that was larger the GT76Q and the 76GTS was the
one i found

Is the .80 compressor housing similar to the ported shroud cover with the 3" outlet?

No although that is another difference, My GTQ had a 2.5 compressor outlet, and the GTS has a 3.0
But still has the standard 4" inlet,Not that funky one with the 2 steps on it

The GTQ is for sale though:D
18 or so passes and 100 or so street miles

WHats the cubic inch on your motor? otto I can't see you outflowing the t76 with a small motor

249CI
Trying to see if i can cram more air into with
a more eficient unit
I still havent leaned it out past 10.0 to 1
