Factory HP in 1984 Regal

Hello,

Does anyone know the factory HP rating for a 1984 Regal with the 3.8L 2-bbl and the optional 4.1L 4-bbl engine?
Also is the 4.1L a Buick or Pontiac engine.
I know it is not turbo related but someone might happen to have a 1984 catalog handy.

I can answer regarding the first one as I have an '84 Cutlass with that same sorry VIN A, 2-bbl 231. It's rated at a whopping 110 Hp.

The 4.1L is a Buick engine but I don't know what it was rated at.

Wow, 110 HP, that is a screamer! The car is a VIN A code so they do have the same engine.
How do you do for gas mileage on the highway?

I guess the 4.1 must be a nice round 130 HP.

Gas mileage? The Cutlass has a TH200 3-spd & 2.41 rear gear. I want to say it's around 22-24 mpg; about the same as a TR.
