I might end up selling my extra motor so I can get my heads sooner. It's a bone stock hotair. Everything intact down to the stock airbox, TB coolant lines, and all vacuum lines. Only problem is the MAF pipe has a hole in it judging by the duct tape that's on it. 75,000 miles. A mechanic diagnosed it with broken piston rings but since it makes no noise, just a little blowby out the breather I'm expecting to find a blown headgasket. There's no water in the oil.

The tranny is for sale also. Fluid looks ok but I've never driven it. I can freshen it up and install a shift kit extremely cheap since I work at a transmission shop.

I'm wondering what is a good ballpark price to start at assuming I replace the headgaskets and make sure there are no problems? I really have no idea how much to ask before I put it in the parts for sale section.

I'm not sure of a fair price, but keep me posted, I'm in need of an engine! I don't have the money to rebuild mine (the way I want) at the moment, but I'm getting tired of it sitting on ramps!

(However, all I really need is the long block & headers, so I may not be of any help to ya)

and if that's a bq trans i'd buy it off ya,i need one for my dad's hotrod.keep me posted.

later,sean
