Photobucket deleted my complete account with NO WARNING. Said it was a policy violation . Ok I understand, but no warning so I lost it all!

Make sure yours are backed up somewhere!

What did they say the violation was? No warning or notice at all? That's crazy. Sorry that happened and I hope you have some of them somewhere else stored.
BTW - Thank you for your service.

I'd never trust any of my data to "the cloud". :poop: Oh, wait - that's not a cloud. Portable hard drives are way to cheap now...

The point was they deleted my account with no warning. No email, no call, etc. Tried to log in and couldn't log in. Contacted them via email and I received a message stating I violated there policy. OK if I did, I understand but at least lock the account and allow me to retrieve my photos. It was only about 12 years worth!

Photobucket reserves the right to terminate your Membership at any time (even if you've paid), without warning for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation and without liability, and can even take legal action if needed.

I would just steer clear of that whole online hosting crap anyway....

Yep, I know and thats why I posted it up. To warn others!

Wait a minute. Even if they shut down your account, how did you loose anything? Whenever I upload pix or vids to any cloud type site, it's just a copy. The originals stay on my computer, or whatever device I'm sending from.

I have only had about 10 phones and 6 computers in the past twelve years. I just wanted to make people aware that they can delete your account, that's all.
